Students for Staff, Miami University’s student organization advocating for fair wages for Miami employees, will hold an all day event to honor Miami workers on Wednesday, September 26th.
A day of events are scheduled in honor of Miami University’s full-time staff. Without the daily commitment of the 1,500 full-time employees and community members, Miami University would cease to function. Students for Staff will celebrate these individuals’ contribution with a campus-wide, all-day event.
Students For Staff invites students and faculty to visit letter-writing stations, at the Hub and elsewhere, to write notes of thanks to staff members. Green ribbons, signifying appreciation of Miami’s employees, will also be provided. Staff Day will culminate with a casual reception dinner and toast at the Shriver Patio from 5-7 PM. All are invited to eat and recognize the daily contributions of Miami’s full-time staff. An open microphone will allow everyone their turn to share their respect and gratitude for our staff.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
